WOMEN IN ORDAINED MINISTRIES - Diocesan Synthesis Reports

Colm Holmes • 13 June 2022

Included by 96% of dioceses

WAC decided to analyse the 26 Diocesan Synthesis Reports to the Synod under 3 headings: This is the first heading: WOMEN IN ORDAINED MINISTRIES. Was this referred to (YES or NO) and if yes include a quotation.

Our research showed that 96% of dioceses (25 out of 26) made SPECIFIC REFERENCES TO WOMEN IN ORDAINED MINISTRIES.

This is crude method of capturing such complex and nuanced documents within the limits of a spreadsheet. Our researchers were overwhelmed by the generosity, wisdom, honesty and goodwill reflected in every synthesis. These qualities shone through because of, or despite, the process in which each synthesis was developed.
