Following the death of Fr. Kieran O’ Mahony OSA on August 18th, the members of We Are Church Ireland wish to express our condolences to his family and Augustinian confreres and to acknowledge the immense contribution he made to promoting an interest in and the understanding of scripture as a means of developing adult faith in the Christian churches today.
More about his prodigious output can be found on the website of the Tarsus Scripture School (see below), of which he was a founding member in 2020. May he rest in peace and may his legacy live on in the lives he touched by the way he opened scripture and made it more accessible to those seeking a more relevant and deeper faith.
