WAC Ireland Press Release 28/11/2016

We had already offered to take an active part in this Meeting as a Catholic reform organisation in a letter to Archbishop Eamon Martin last June. While he acknowledged our letter we have not been contacted so far.

‘We are calling for the unjust sanction of the silencing of six Irish Priests to be lifted before the visit of Pope Francis and for that the World meeting of Families here in Dublin to be an all- inclusive one in which all families, especially LBGT families who were excluded at the previous World Meeting in Philadelphia in 2015, are invited to participate' stated Brendan Butler, spokesperson We are Church Ireland
